Baru-baru ini perusahaan BlackBerry Kanada, Research in Motion (RIM) meluncurkan handphone BlackBerry seri terbaru yakni BlackBerry 9800 Torch. Smartphone BB ini menggunakan OS BlackBerry 6 dengan layar sentuh (touch screen) 3.2 inci HVGA dan keyboard QWERTY sekaligus.

Ponsel BlackBerry Torch ini berjalan menggunakan prosesor 624 MHz dan memiliki memori internal 512 MB yang bisa di-upgrade dengan flash storage hingga 4 GB. Fitur lainnya koneksi wi-fi dengan standar terbaru 802.11n.
